Since 2004, Crye-Leike’s Mount Juliet office has raised over $65,000 through its auction to benefit agencies affiliated with United Way of Greater Nashville. This year’s proceeds benefited the Mount Juliet Senior Center, the Mount Juliet Help Center and the Empower Me Day Camp.
The Sweet Tooth Auction honors the late Martin Cummings, who was the first managing broker of the Crye-Leike Mount Juliet office. Cummings was an avid supporter of his community and the auction lives on in his memory.
“We are thrilled that our event was so successful this year,” said Crye-Leike Realtor and Director of Career Development Barbara Bell. “We had to cancel last year’s event due to COVID-19, and we decided to move the event off-site this year. We really weren’t sure what the turnout would be, but we ended up raising $1,000 more than we did at our 2019 auction! We truly could not have done this without all of the amazing support we received from the community.”
Crye-Leike would like to extend a special thank you to Angie Richardson at Rite Rug for providing breakfast for the event, Jimmy Deatrick for being a fantastic auctioneer and all of the people who donated items and participated in the auction.
Crye-Leike’s Mount Juliet office is one of 21 residential real estate offices in the Middle Tennessee region. In an effort to uphold the Core Value of being a “good neighbor”, Crye-Leike conducts an annual company-wide United Way campaign and encourages its 130+ branch offices to host fundraising events to benefit local communities.
