HUNT Mortgage Corp. has opened the doors to its new corporate headquarters on the second floor in the Brisbane Building at 403 Main Street in Buffalo, NY, moving from the company’s previous location at 5400 Broadway Street, Lancaster, NY.
HUNT Mortgage occupies approximately 10,000 square feet of the second floor, which is equipped with the finest technology capable of connecting its Origination, Processing, and Closing Departments with its operations in Arizona, Colorado, Alabama, North Carolina, Florida, Massachusetts, and New York. Integral to the office space are multiple conference rooms, a training room, a video and sound recording studio, an exercise facility, and a series of meeting spaces designed to enhance idea sharing and other team collaborations. The company’s Mortgage Consultants, who work directly with customers and HUNT Real Estate sales professionals, will be working from HUNT Real Estate branch locations and, as needed, from the new headquarters.
The establishment of the headquarters in the Brisbane Building is of historical significance to the company as it served as the second location of the original Hunt Business Agency, founded by Charles S. Hunt in 1911. Mr. Hunt’s son, C. Stuart Hunt, acquired the building in 1988. HUNT Commercial Real Estate Corporation has maintained its offices in the building since, and also recently moved to the second floor in an adjacent space to HUNT Mortgage. The building is now owned by third-generation family members, Peter F. Hunt, the organization’s Chairman and CEO, and Stephen N. Hunt, a member of the HUNT Commercial team. The Brisbane Building is managed today by HUNT Property Solutions.
